The first Siamese (Thai) Kingdom of Sukhothai, emerged in the 13th Century from a region previously ruled by Indian, Khmer and Mon, kings and princes. Later known as the golden era of Thai arts and culture, thus, it is not surprising that much of today’s popular Thai cuisines evolved from this period. The most famous is indisputably, the distinctive Thai green curry.
